I love Motorhomes!
I absolutely love Motorhoming - I could talk for hours about motorhome adventures! Just click away now if touring doesn't float your boat!!
We bought our first motorhome nearly 3 years ago, after moving from a Caravan. We had a "leaky lunar" (Lunar Solar 525L to be precise!), it wasn't leaky but that's what they are nicknamed ;) Then when the kids stopped wanting to come away we moved to a Swift Conqueror 570 which I absolutely loved. It was our 5* hotel on wheels. We always knew we would move on to a Motorhome but thought it would be something we did in retirement. A school friend of mine died at the age of 43 and it made us realise that retirement isn't something everyone gets to experience. Sorry for the gloom ... but you have to live for today so it brought our plans forward and we made the big leap and ordered our Chausson 718xlb (from Tyne Valley Motorhomes) which arrived in June 2018. We go away for weekends as often as possible, we've done 9 days touring the NC500 which was just amazing, the scenery on the West Coast of Scotland is something else. We saw Otters, Dolphins, Stags - just amazing. Mid Covid lockdowns last summer we had a week in Norfolk and a week on the Northumberland Coast, our home turf. We are planning a week in the Peak District next month, cycling the Monsal Trail and Tissington Trail (any recommendations down that way welcome!). We do have a day trip to Bakewell planned - I'm quite partial to a bit of bakewell tart but apparently there's also a bakewell pudding, so we will have to sample both to see which is the best!
Anyway, my love for motorhoming is part of the reason I set up Larchmill. I wanted to be able to offer unique and quirky motorhome gifts for all and the flexibility to request whatever you want printed - you can never have too many personalised things in your van! Whether you are looking for the best gifts for campervan owners, kids enamel mugs, campervan essentials, motorhome christmas decorations, or general campervan gift ideas, we will have something for you. Living the Dream is our motto and one that's shared by most campers. LTD is actually the last part of our motorhome numberplate, give us a wave if you spot us on the road!
